The Position
Planned Start Date: April 2009. To deliver technical knowledge, instruction and aircraft systems procedures on Citation II (later also Citation XLS and King Air 200) to the Customer Trainees of our Client’s company.
To succeed in this position, you should have the ability and/or experience to assess the Customer Trainee’s aircraft systems knowledge and then determine if they have gained sufficient knowledge to pass the final exam. The ability to respond to Customer Trainees questions in a positive and helpful manner, by carrying out research and delivering an answer in a timely and understandable manner is also key. The position involves direct Customer Trainee contact and interaction, so needs someone who is willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and who has above average English verbal and written skills, plus good Customer liaison and interaction abilities. A professional approach is key throughout.
Some UK and foreign travel is involved and you may have access to Company financial details, which must be treated as confidential. The Team at our Client’s offices work very well together so, most importantly, they want you to be professional, logical and committed – working with them does require that you hold the necessary qualifications for the job, but it is also about who you are as a person and not just your career progression and experience to date.

Outline Package

Key Responsibilities will include
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Technical Training Courses • The ability to instruct Customer Trainees on description, operation and maintenance procedures as listed in the AMM to EASA Part-66 Level III complexity; • Presenting Citation (and later King Air 200) courses at the UK Training Centre and other facilities. This includes use of AMM, CMM IPC, Wiring Manual, AFM and SBs. • Assisting in other aircraft programs when needed.

• The right to live and work within the UK • An EASA Part 66 B1 & B2 Licence • Avionics system knowledge
Preferred Skills – your application will be enhanced if you also have:
• Around 10 years aircraft maintenance/engineering experience • Previous Instructional experience (in any environment) • Citation certification • A Degree, or equivalent • Microsoft Office, Internet and PC skills

Selection/Interview Process
